The tests in the 3 companies, Mutua Universal, Grupo Antolín and EXUS, have come to an end. They began on April 12th, starting on this date the short-term tests whose goal was to accomplish a user-friendly WAOW Tool, and a validated and reliable WorkingAge system. During this period the volunteers used the devices separately and later the entire system was tested by the technical partners.

Starting on May 2nd and ending on June 10th, volunteers were able to fully enjoy and take advantage of the virtual personalized assistant provided through the WAOW Tool on their WorkingAge mobile. This period was called the long-term tests, whose objective has been to accomplish levels of adherence, compliance, effectiveness and sustainability of the WAOW Tool.

The main benefit for the workers who have participated in the project will be to prevent diseases in the workplace (including those related to work, work accidents and stress), providing an improved and intelligent environment enriched in comfort and vigilance thanks to the network sensors.

The three participating companies will also ensure that, with the WAOW Tool, employees were able to operate in an environment that best suits their personal work needs and expectations. Improving the working conditions of workers ensures higher retention rates among employees who are close to retirement. Ensuring older workers remain associated with the company helps retain knowledge, while providing employment options to an aging population.

14 volunteers have participated in Mutua Universal, from whom we have collected data for the office case.

In EXUS, there were 9 teleworking participants, who carried out the tests from their homes.

And in Grupo Antolín, a total of 13 workers who perform assembly and sewing tasks completed their participation throughout the testing period.

Each use case has had complex and varied challenges, but thanks to the work and effort of the partners, and the involvement of the intermediaries and volunteers in the three companies, the pilots have managed to get ahead and be completed.

To reward the dedication and commitment of the volunteers, at the end of these tests, they will keep the mobile phone, the activity tracker and the scale, used during the pilots. Those who accepted the extended set at home, will also be rewarded with a noise-cancelling headphones and an IP camera.
