In the context of the In-Company tests starting, the final experimental phase in which the WorkingAge Of Wellbeing (WAOW) tool will be daily used by workers along their standard working days, the integration phase was finalized.

In the meantime, all the logistics for starting the tests was completed and the Neurometrics modules developed by BrainSigns were shipped to the different testing sites. Such Neurometrics modules rely on signal processing algorithms to evaluate the mental workload, the stress level and the emotional states of the workers, by estimating the Heart Rate (HR) from the Photoplethysmohgraphic (PPG) signal, the Skin Conductance Level (SCL) from the Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) and the Eye Blinks Rate (EBR) from the Electrooculographic (EOG) signal. These signals will be collected through wearable devices, such as the Empatica E4, a smart wristband, and the Muse S, a light headband. The devices will allow the signal collection from the workers while they will perform standard working tasks without negatively interfere with such activities.
