Telespazio is ready to launch the preliminary deployments of one WAOW tool set in its premises prior to deploying the fifteen WOAW tool sets in Barcelona. The objectives of these preliminary deployments is twofold: training the team responsible for real deployments to be more efficient and testing key equipment that make the core infrastructure of the WAOW tool.
The deployment of the fifteen WAOW tool sets in Barcelona represent more than 200 sensors to be installed and configured. Once deployed, the fifteen WOAW tool will be used by volunteers to perform the Short Term Tests, aiming at fine tuning the protocols and equipment prior to launching the final phase of the project: the Long Term Tests, which will involve thirty volunteers.
